Record the meeting in Zoom

Before the meeting begins, press the "Record" button at the bottom of the Zoom screen. If you don’t see the button, it can be found under the "More" menu option. Only the host can record the meeting. If you are a participant you can request recording options from your host by asking for the required permissions.

All participants will be notified that a recording is taking place. There will be a blinking red icon on the top left-hand corner. New participants in the meeting will also see that the meeting is being recorded.

End the meeting and save the recording

Click "End meeting" once the meeting has come to an end. This can also be found at the bottom of the screen. A recording of your meeting will be saved in "My Documents > Zoom"

Upload and Transcribe using Go Transcribe

If you have an account: Log into you Go Transcribe account here. Otherwise create an account here. Once into your Go Transcribe account, simply click "Upload File", ensure that the right language is set, then "Choose File". After this go to "My Documents > Zoom", and click on the folder and select the recording of the Zoom meeting you would like to transcribe.
